ROITI Enters the Teenage Years in 2026*

As 2025 comes to a close, OBVIOUSLY we need to post the 2026 outlook. ROITI as a company is entering its teenage years, and pretty much everyone should know those are turbulent and not always in a fun way. Still, we are pretty optimistic that we have laid solid groundwork, that we do not make everyone around us crazy, but rather go in the direction of “what a mature attitude” most of the time. Here are the key things we are getting ready for in 2026.

Inside the Company

As every proper teenager, we are going through personality change. We joined Dataciders at the end of last year, and this year we are moving into the brand properly. So, as much as ROITI is an awesome brand, we are moving to the corporate branding and as a first step, we will turn into Dataciders ROITI.

For those of you who have seen Inside Out 2 – you know this comes with new core values creation as a mix of old and new emotions. We will work on adopting properly the values of the group while ensuring we don’t lose our particular flavor of doing business. Luckily, the parent company chooses companies also based on values match, so this is not such a revolutionary task.

Finally, and I guess very important from a business perspective: as we are now older, we can do more stuff – we have added new competencies within the company and are already building a track record. These are the three we have already made steps in 2025 on and we expect to establish as a presence in 2026:

  • DevOps practice
  • Front End team
  • QA [in the making with the elusive goal of having QAs who know an ETRM landscape very well]

Market & Momentum

Externally, several trends seem to be visible within our reach and I have captured them with the help of quotes from partners and clients – but to add a bit of narcissism, one of mine as well.

A partner of ours said in a meeting “No one who is reasonable has any good ETRM BAs or DEVs on the bench right now” and I am stealing this quote without asking 😊. The ETRM market has been and is very busy right now. On our end this meant expanding our team by about 15 people just last year. We will continue building on this know how backbone for us, and with core know-how, and partners like Molecule and Topaz, we hope we continue to deliver value across the world.

In one of the client visits towards the end of the year I had a conversation summarized by “The mood is a bit down, as market volatility is down”. After the crazy years of 2022-2024, 2025 seems to calm at least in some of our markets, which often means companies are not necessarily meeting targets. This runs counter to growth ambitions, but we still believe there is a lot of technology adoption to be had and a lot of either cost optimization or unlocking revenue streams to be done by customers (with some help on our end). So, not necessarily the best year for all in 2025, but for good or bad – a ton of meaningful problems still to solve for everyone in 2026 and beyond.

Finally, with growth come new ambitions. Quoting myself towards the management team here at ROITI – “We want to move towards becoming globally relevant”. With partners and customers opening doors for us towards starting small in time zones further away from Europe, we have something to build on, and are developing ambitions to start becoming a more global player. With Dataciders backing, this becomes a more realistic endeavor. Hence, watch out Singapore and US. 😊

Gratitude

We send off a very good year and if we have any optimism for what lies ahead, it is based on us working with a great team, somehow managing to handle the growth and the teen outbursts here and there. Thank you, ROITI team – and let’s keep on growing and delivering value together!

We also cannot be happier to work with customers, who treat us well, and with whom discussions are very open and straightforward – and most importantly, who trust us to do right by them. It makes our lives much easier when we like the people and company cultures we work for – in that sense, we are very lucky. Thank you!

Finally, in some cases partners, in some cases clients, we are very happy to work with vendors like Molecule and Topaz, who challenge us and let us do what we do best – support and integrate software. Thank you for the opportunities and the trust!
